Tigris CX

The universal cutter Tigris CX is a powerful cutting tool that effortlessly cuts almost all insulation materials, offering maximum flexibility thanks to battery operation (CAS-compatible). The unique diamond cutting wire allows you to process polystyrene, Styrodur, mineral wool (both rock and glass wool), hemp fibre, plasterboard, aerated concrete, Multipor mineral insulation panels, and many other materials in seconds.

With the optionally available add-on package, you can now also cut wood fibre insulation panels with a maximum density of 160 kg/m³ effortlessly. This versatility makes the Tigris CX the ideal insulation cutter for any application.

In the Tigris 850 CX version, panels with a maximum length of up to 850 mm and a thickness of 340 mm can be cut. For larger projects, the Tigris 1250 CX is available, offering a maximum cutting length of 1250 mm.

Compared to the previous model, the Tigris CX impresses with a maintenance-free brushless battery motor. This advanced technology enables longer battery life with more power.

The designers have also made several improvements to further simplify the handling of the device. With intuitive controls and an ergonomic design, you can operate the Tigris CX effortlessly, even for demanding cutting tasks.

Operating the Tigris CX is extremely simple: by pressing the button, the cutting wire starts immediately and cuts effortlessly through the placed material. Changing the cutting wire is quick and convenient, without the need for additional tools.

The construction made of high-quality aluminium not only ensures a low total weight but also guarantees maximum stability and durability. The robust housing optimally protects both the battery and the motor, allowing you to work even under demanding conditions.

Thanks to the infinitely adjustable angle setting, mitre, bevel, and compound cuts, as well as many other variations, are easily possible. The corresponding settings can be made just as quickly and easily, allowing you to flexibly respond to the requirements of your project.

The laterally mounted extraction device reduces dust exposure during work to a minimum, contributing to a clean working environment.

The Tigris CX 850 can be set up either freestanding or, after folding in the stand, mounted on scaffolding. This flexibility allows for optimal space saving, which is particularly appreciated when working on scaffolding.

With one battery charge (18 V / 5.2 Ah), approximately 300 cuts in mineral wool are possible.
